Acceptance of terms
Your access to and use of Beautyful by Lauren (the “Website”) is subject exclusively to these Terms and Conditions. You will not use the Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions. By using the Website you are fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions you must immediately stop using the Website.
Bookings
Online Course purchases should be made online via the relevant course link. In Person training courses can be booked by completing a contact form, by email or social media. There is a non-refundable booking fee for training courses (deposit amount is variable dependant on course). However, if you have chosen an online course or one of the payment plan options, 100% of the course amount is non-refundable. A confirmation email will be sent to you once the fee for booking has been paid. It is your responsibility to provide accurate contact information when making the booking, but please also check your junk folder.
The full fee of the course is payable at least 14 days before the training date and the purchase guarantees you will receive the course material and qualification within 12 months. However, course purchase does not guarantee a specific training date or location. Failure to pay the amount owed at least 14 days before your booked date will incur late payment fees, as well as the risk of losing your space on the course. A further email will be sent to you a few days before the training containing information regarding your course venue, instructions and details. If you have not received this prior to your training, please contact us. If you have any further queries do not hesitate to email us at beautyfulbylauren@gmail.com.

Beautyful by Lauren will not be held responsible for confirmation and emails not received by students and no refunds will be issued under these circumstances. Once any training material has been provided, all courses become 100% non-refundable.

Returns, course transfer or cancellation
​
Online course bookings are 100% non-transferrable and non-refundable. If you would like to cancel your classroom/venue booking, you can do so at least 21 days prior to your original booked training date with £95 cancellation
​
Your course date can be transferred or placed on hold at least 21 days before your original booked training date for a £20 administration fee. This fee must be paid at the time of transfer. We may only transfer your booking if there is availability on the course requested. If you have placed a space on hold for a course that you cannot attend, full payment is still due at least 21 days prior to your original booked training date, and your space will be held for a maximum of 12 months from your booking date.
If you do not attend or cancel your booked course or refresher date without at least 21 days notice, you will still be liable to pay the full course fee and will forfeit your refresher space on future dates. Beautyful by Lauren reserves the right to change or cancel a course date, at any given time without prior notice. In the event of a course cancellation, Beautyful by Lauren will offer a course date transfer, but no compensation for any costs incurred. This does not affect your statutory rights, since purchase of one of our courses only guarantees that you will receive the course content and qualification, but not within a set date or location.
All cancellation and transfer requests must be sent in writing to beautyfulbylauren@gmail.com. Cancellations must state that you wish to cancel your course, otherwise your space will be placed on hold.
Cancellations due to COVID-19 are subject to the same terms as above. However, if Beautyful by Lauren are required to cancel a training date or location due to COVID-19 restrictions or regulations, you will be offered a course transfer to another location and date, or the opportunity to complete your training online. Beautyful by Lauren reserve the right to cancel any courses without any prior notice. Refunds will not be issued as all training courses can be completed in the same time frame.
Course completion
You will have 28 days to complete your course from the date you receive the course information from Beautyful by Lauren. This includes case studies that are required as part of all our training courses. You will be responsible for completing models. You will only receive your accredited certificate to obtain insurance once all requirements have been met. If you fail to complete your assessment within 28 days please contact us immediately to discuss why. If after a 3 month period you still haven’t completed your assessment you will be required to return for further training at a cost of £120 – or you will forfeit your qualification.

Beautyful by Lauren reserve the right to withdraw training for any student or revoke their certification at any time during or after course completion if the student or graduate is found to be non compliant of these Terms and Conditions or the accreditation guidelines, or found to be engaging in student misconduct. Students can request accreditation details from Beautyful by Lauren at any time, as accreditation providers are course dependent.
Support

Upon completion of the training course, all students will receive free support from Beautyful by Lauren, for up to 6 months after the course date. Full details will be provided to you on the training day or in your manuals.

Student insurance and liability
​
You will be given information on the training day as well as in your training manual regarding obtaining the correct insurance for your business. Beautyful by Lauren does not accept responsibility for any students who fail to obtain public liability insurance during or after completion of their course.

Beautyful by Lauren will not accept any liability for incorrect treatment protocols or injury to clients resulting from students following instructions given on our training courses, nor will they accept responsibility for any poor work completed by students. If you are not feeling completely confident to practice on live models by the end of your training course, please ensure you let one of the trainers know so we can assist further.
Advice
The contents of the Website do not constitute advice and should not be relied upon in making or refraining from making any decision. The contents of the Website are derived from various sources, some of which are are copyrighted.

Changes to website
Beautyful by Lauren reserves the right to change or remove – temporarily or permanently – the Website or any part of it without notice. You confirm that Beautyful by Lauren shall not be liable to you for any such change or removal of these Terms and Conditions at any time. Your continued use of the Website following any changes shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change.
Links to third party websites
The Website may include links to third party websites that are controlled and maintained by others. Any link to other websites is not an endorsement of such websites and you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for the content or availability of any such sites.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any representation or endorsement made and without warranty of any kind whether expressed or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security and accuracy.

To the extent permitted by law, Beautyful by Lauren will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever (including without limitation loss of business, opportunity, data, profits) arising out of or in connection with the use of the Website.

Beautyful by Lauren makes no warranty that the functionality of the Website will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected or that the Website or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or anything else which may be harmful or destructive.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be construed so as to exclude or limit the liability of Beautyful by Lauren for death or personal injury as a result of the negligence of Beautyful by Lauren or that of its employees or agents.

You agree to indemnify and hold Beautyful hair and beauty T/A Beautyful by Lauren Limited (registered number 12078741, and address 78 King Street, Newcastle under Lyme, ST5 1JB), its employees and agents harmless from and against all liabilities, legal fees, damages, losses, costs and other expenses in relation to any claims or actions brought against Beautyful by Lauren arising out of any breach by you of these Terms and Conditions or other liabilities arising out of your use of this Website.

Severance

You agree to indemnify and hold Beautyful by Lauren its employees and agents harmless from and against all liabilities, legal fees, damages, losses, costs and other expenses in relation to any claims or actions brought against Beautyful by Lauren arising out of any breach by you of these Terms and Conditions or other liabilities arising out of your use of this Website.

Governing law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
